Cookie Monsta was an iconic artist in the dubstep scene and the impact of the music he made will live on forever in the hearts of many.

Last week, the electronic music scene lost an incredible member and staple in the dubstep community, Cookie Monsta. Since the sudden, shocking news, there has been an outpouring of love on social media from fellow producers and fans who shared memories spent with the dubstep don throughout his career. One glimpse at these heartfelt messages truly shows the impact he made on everyone he worked with or even just met over the years.

Dubstep would not be been the same without Cookie Monsta. In fact, he was one of the first dubstep artists that many listened to and a huge reason why people fell in love with the genre as it grew in popularity. Whether through his renowned releases on Circus Records that still find their way into sets to this day or performances at iconic festivals around the world, he was one of the most impressive artists in the scene.

While his solo sets were always teeming with amazing tunes, some of the greatest memories catching Cookie Monsta spin came from the epic b2bs with artists and dear friends FuntCase, Doctor P, and 12th Planet. The energy that he brought was always unbelievable, especially when paired with these legends, and his place among the dubstep dons will never be forgotten.

To honor the legacy of Cookie Monsta and celebrate his life, we curated 35 of his most iconic tracks and some of our personal favorites as well. Tunes that will surely stir up some memories include “Yow Mama,” “Ginger Pubes,” and “Blurgh!,” while the playlist also includes his more recent tunes such as “Freak” and his remix of Habstrakt’s “Show Me” which was released back in late August.

And to all the dubstep lovers out there, just know you are not alone in how you are feeling right now. We hope this playlist can help you smile and think of the memories made while hearing his tracks played out live at a festival, club, or even blasting through the speakers of your car. We miss you, Cookie.
