Last week, the electronic music scene lost an incredible member and staple in the dubstep community, Cookie Monsta. Since the sudden, shocking news, there has been an outpouring of love on social media from fellow producers and fans who shared memories spent with the dubstep don throughout his career. Dubstep would not be been the same without Cookie Monsta. In fact, he was one of the first dubstep artists that many listened to and a huge reason why people fell in love with the genre as it grew in popularity. Whether through his renowned releases on Circus Records that still find their way into sets to this day or performances at iconic festivals around the world, he was one of the most impressive artists in the scene.
