Dirtybird and Home Bass have postponed the debut edition of Dirtybird CampINN to 2021 as cases of COVID-19 continue to surge in Florida.
As the United States continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic the postponement or cancellation of festivals that were slated to happen in the fall seems to be more certain by the day. Now, after Suwannee Hulaween officially postponed their 2020 edition earlier today another festival in Florida has announced that they will be looking to 2021 as well: Dirtybird CampINN.
Originally set to take place over Labor Day Weekend, Dirtybird CampINN was a fresh concept from the renowned house music label as they would take the vibes found at Dirtybird Campout for a full-on takeover of the Avanti Palms Resort in Orlando with the Home Bass crew. But members of the Florida Flock will have to wait until May 14-17, 2021 to shake their tailfeather due to the ongoing pandemic.
“We were so excited to reuinite with our Dirtybird family this Labor Day Weekend in Florida,” the statement that was just posted on social media reads. “However due to the ongoing pandemic, we don’t believe that we will be able to execute the best overall CampINN experience that we had originally hoped for.”
Those who purchased room packages and passes for the debut edition of CampINN will have the chance to request a refund from July 25 – August 25 with more details on how to do so arriving via email. Attendees who plan to keep their rooms and transfer them to the new dates in May 2021 will be getting some extra bonuses that include priority room selection, a free three-month subscription to Birdfeed, a Dirtybird CampINN Fan, and complimentary Thursday Early Arrival with a new pre-party.
Stay tuned for more information about other cancellations and postponements from around the world as we continue to follow the impact coronavirus has on the festival season this year.
