Insomniac Events and Relentless Beats have teamed up to bring Seven Lions to Arizona for the debut edition of their Tailgate Series Drive-In Rave.
After having a successful “Road Rave” featuring Carnage, Relentless Beats is looking to provide entertainment alternatives during the coronavirus pandemic. This time, they’re partnering up with Insomniac Events for the debut edition of the Park N’ Rave “Tailgate Series.” In a surprise announcement yesterday, Ophelia Records Founder and renowned artist Seven Lions was named as the headliner for the show.
The Park N Rave “Tailgate Series” event is set to take place on June 26 and June 27 at the Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. While the remainder of the lineup is yet to be announced, it will remain the same for both nights, with Seven Lions featured as the main headliner.
Those considering attending should be cautious, regardless of the socially distanced nature of the show, as Arizona is the country’s new COVID-19 hotspot due to the state dropping its stay-at-home order and lacking a mask policy. Cases have skyrocketed in the state since Memorial Day Weekend, so if you’re considering attending please think twice about if this show truly is worth the trip if you do not already live in Arizona.
In the face of this, both promoters plan to press on with the show. They’re encouraging those attending the event to only be in the same car as others in your immediate quarantine community and are recommending you stay at home if you’re sick or have been exposed to COVID-19. Additionally, they’re also requiring you to remain within your lot space during the show and alcohol will not be served. Tickets to catch Tailgate Series featuring Seven Lions begin at $150 + fees per car and will be available to purchase on June 16 at 12 PM PDT via their website.
