Beatport has teamed up with Loopcloud, iZotope, Pluginboutique, Roland Cloud, and Landr for the Beatport Producer Challenge.
Right now, producers around the world are taking this time to create and produce new music. The timing couldn’t be perfect for Beatport to announce with the Beatport Producer Challenge. For the challenge, Beatport is teaming up with Loopcloud, iZotope, Pluginboutique, Roland Cloud, and Landr to find the next wave of music creators.
Here’s the rundown. The contest is free to enter. You just have to submit an original track within one of the ten genres available. What’s on the genre menu? Well, there’s techno, tech house, melodic house and techno, trance, house, minimal and deep tech, drum and bass, afro house, deep house, and for some reason, dance, future, bass house is sandwiched into one genre.

Participants have until May 11, 2020, to create and submit an original piece of music to enter the competition, and we have a feeling the entries will be full of talent. Beatport will select 50 winners across the ten genres. The winning participants will share a prize package worth over $100,000. To sweeten the deal, you’ll be featured on Beatport’s homepage and playlist for some extra exposure.
And don’t worry if you don’t have access to all the latest and greatest software because every entrant will get a month free trial of Loopcloud. Sweet, right? During your free trial, you’ll get a choice between four sample packs, 300 credits at your disposal, and full Loopcloud functionality. It just keeps getting better and better.
