EDSea has released the official themes for its 2027 sailing, including Rainbow Road, Groovy ‘Toons, Electric Circus, Hot Tropic, and more.
The upcoming edition of EDSea might still be a bit far off on the horizon, but Insomniac, Sixthman, and Vibee are beginning to roll out some exciting updates for those who are planning to hop on board. The 2027 sailing will once again be hosted on the Norwegian Joy, setting sail to Harvest Caye in Belize for the second time in the floating festival’s history. Seasiders have craved any morsel of information they could get about the experience, and today, EDSea revealed its official themes so that everyone can start planning their fits for each day and night of the cruise.
Embarkation day will feature quite the party to kick off EDSea, and you’ll want to pack your clothes that are best for the slopes, as Aprave-Ski is the theme that night. Think faux fur, flourishes of neon, rave goggles, and as much white as possible to make the ship feel like it’s a floating cabin at a mountain resort.
The vibrancy of EDSea will be put on full display during the first day at sea when the Rainbow Road theme kicks into gear. Full-spectrum fits that bleed technicolor hues are a must for this day. At night, Groovy ‘Toons takes over, a Looney Tunes-inspired theme that celebrates all animated icons, making for a true cosplayers’ delight.
Harvest Caye will be calling everyone’s name on Day 3, and the one-two punch of Hot Tropic and Wild Things themes will be a perfect fit for the island paradise. Rock your Y2K meets tropical fits during the day, before letting your inner animal out with untamed looks during the evening hours.
Turn the clock back to the days of raves gone by on the fourth day as Kandi Land enters the fray. Bring your best singlets, cuffs, perlers, and other kandi-inspired colorful creations to rock. Then, it’s time to head to the Electric Circus that night, so make sure to pack your top hat and blacklight-ready clothes for some carnival-fueled chaos.
The final day sees the return of the Deep Dive Disco, with the ’70s-inspired theme allowing anyone to wear their best fits to boogie on the dancefloor. Finally, Pajama Jam closes out the festivities as EDSea comes to a close, so don’t forget your cozy sleepwear as you dance until dawn.
