Axwell, Tiësto, Miss Monique, Lost Frequencies, Alison Wonderland, and more will head to Shanghai to perform at The Magic of Tomorrowland when it returns in October.
Tomorrowland has expanded immensely over the past decade and a half. From its humble beginnings in Belgium, the brand has found its way to new regions of the globe, bringing its signature production elements and powerful lineups along with it. While other editions — Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland Brasil, and the upcoming debut of Tomorrowland Thailand — have been the talk of the town, there’s something special brewing in China this fall: The Magic of Tomorrowland.
Last year, The Magic of Tomorrowland made a stunning sold-out debut in Shanghai, giving dance music lovers a taste of the festival’s magic in a unique setting. Now, after receiving a warm response, the event is set to return for another edition at the newly improved Hero Dome on October 17-18, with Tomorrowland partnering with Budweiser, Hero Esports, and INS LAND to bring it to life.
Those heading to The Magic of Tomorrowland will be treated to an immersive experience filled with the festival’s signature storytelling and world-class production powered by cutting-edge technology. The Hero Dome, located in Shanghai’s Huangpu District, was recently renovated with upgrades including a 99-meter curved LED screen and 80 ceiling screens. Together, this creates a 360-degree immersive visual environment for the underwater spectacle.
Yet that’s only one piece of the puzzle, as the soundtrack for the two-night experience will be provided by top-tier artists in the scene. Standouts on the lineup for the first night include Axwell, Lost Frequencies, Hauzer, Linska, MORTEN, and Cassian b2b Kevin de Vries. Meanwhile, the second night packs its own punch, featuring Tiësto, Miss Monique, Alison Wonderland, Joel Cory, and a unique back-to-back that brings ARTBAT and R3HAB to the stage together. Additionally, Carly Wilford, MC Stretch, and Nosi will be on hand both nights.
Those planning to attend can opt for standard GA passes or enhance their experience with GA+. These enhanced passes include access to the exclusive Harbour Villa area to relax throughout the weekend and expedited entry. Other amenities found at The Magic of Tomorrowland include curated Michelin food and beverage options, interactive brand activations, and more.
Two-day passes for The Magic of Tomorrowland start at ¥1488 for GA and ¥2388 for GA+. Single-day passes cost ¥788 for GA and ¥1288 for GA+. Tickets for this event will be available on the INS Land App and WeChat mini-program, Damai, Ticket Planet, Juss Sports, Mei-Ta Selections. Stay tuned for more details.
