The Consciencia mainstage is making its debut at Tomorrowland 2026. In the meantime, organizers have given a first look at its surrealistic design.
Tomorrowland typically waits until its annual Boom, Belgium festival to let the general public see its larger-than-life mainstage. But ahead of the 2026 edition, organizer We Are One World has shared a short video teasing the Consciencia mainstage’s mind-bending design.
The clip only runs a few short seconds, just long enough to show how the brand-new theme translates into a structure several stories in height. Spotlights shine on vaguely face-like formations scattered across the installation, with a row of columns that look like they belong to ancient ruins protruding overhead.
“Look closer,” reads the video caption, hinting at the psychospiritual story elements central to Tomorrowland’s Consciencia theme.
Once it debuts on July 17-19 and 24-26, the new structure will mark a rebirth of sorts for Tomorrowland. After a fire burned last year’s mainstage to the ground less than two days before the festival gates opened, organizers were forced to ship in a much smaller stand-in mainstage on short notice. The blaze — which is said to have been caused by flames escaping from fire bowls during a test — reportedly caused around €60 million in damage.
Tomorrowland has taken place annually since 2005, initially drawing 10,000 dance music fans to the De Schorre recreational area in Boom. It now routinely attracts around 400,000 attendees from 200 countries, with more than 500 artists billed across 16 stages.
After Consciencia makes its debut at Tomorrowland’s flagship Belgium event, it will make its way to the debut edition of Tomorrowland Thailand from December 11-13 before featuring at next year’s edition of Tomorrowland Brasil from April 30 – May 2.
