Eli & Fur Announces New EP With Latest Single, “Strange”

**Eli & Fur dropped a haunting, synth-heavy single, “Strange,” and shared that their forthcoming EP, Dreams At Dusk Pt II, will arrive on May 29.**

Electronic duo Eli & Fur have always created music rooted in intuition and personal connection. Known for crafting melodies that merge cinematic worlds with immersive textures, their latest chapter ushers listeners into a new sonic realm shaped by introspection and desire.

Following their 2025 EP, Dreams At Dusk Pt I – Mirage, Eli & Fur spent months on the road touring the West Coast, bringing their signature blend of ethereal sounds and cinematic synths to stages across the region. Building on that momentum, they returned to the studio to channel those experiences into a fresh wave of new music. Now, they’ve announced their forthcoming EP, Dreams At Dusk Pt II, set to drop on May 29 via [PIAS] Électronique, alongside the release of their brand new single, “Strange.”

While the first chapter of Dreams at Dusk explored a lighter, more shimmering soundscape, the new EP ventures into darker, synth-heavy terrain with somber tones. “Stranger” features haunting melodies and flickering percussions, evoking the fleeting sensation of rolling fog and the magnetic pull towards the unknown. The track invites listeners to question what’s real while embracing the quiet thrill of stepping into uncharted sonic territory.

We wrote “Strange” on a piano in a San Rafael Airbnb, just the two of us, in the middle of the Dreams at Dusk West Coast tour. Watching the boats across the harbour as the fog rolled in, the song took shape in a moment where everything felt slightly unsteady but alive. Lyrically, “Strange” explores that feeling of being pulled toward something you don’t fully understand and the tension between wanting to run and wanting to get closer. It’s about questioning what’s real, what’s slipping away, and the thrill of the unknown.
