Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels Releases 'SPIRITS VIII' Compilation

Damian Lazarus is back with another epic release on his Crosstown Rebels label. Founded in 2003, the imprint remains at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge, underground tracks to the dance music community.

Adding to its ever-growing list of releases, Crosstown Rebels has delivered its latest compilation album, SPIRITS VIII. The eighth edition of the acclaimed series features eight songs spanning a diverse range of sounds.

Launched in 2017 by Lazarus, the series has consistently highlighted rising talents across the global dance space. This installment’s emerging artists include Raz Alon, Lost Desert, TIMANTI, STEB, Yuvèe, Ekoboy, MADI, and JUAAN. Each contribute their talents to the carefully curated selection of songs.

SPIRITS VIII kicks off with “Hey It’s Me” by Raz Alon. The inviting and immersive opening track sets the stage for what’s to come. Throughout the 48-minute compilation, the vibe varies from atmospheric, deep house soundscapes like “Ultima” by Lost Desert to dancefloor weapons such as Ekoboy’s “Lose Control.”

Closing out the rousing adventure through sound, Argentinian producer JUAAN dials things up one last time with “Bass Caliente.” The punchy, club-ready finale leaves listeners with a final burst of energy, closing out the latest volume of Crosstown Rebels’ crown jewel.
