Last Heroes heads back to Ophelia Records with the release of OPIA, their six-track EP that features collaborations with RUNN, HYMNALS, Kuala, and Years Of War.

Colorado-based duo Last Heroes has carved out a unique space for themselves within the electronic music scene. The duo first entered the scene in 2016 and has since dialed in their signature sound, defined by soaring melodic dubstep melodies with flourishes of indie layered in for good measure. This has led Last Heroes to build a fervent fanbase in the scene while also frequently finding a home on Seven Lions‘ Ophelia Records.

That label is exactly where Last Heroes has returned to for the release of their latest EP, OPIA. The six-track release puts their vibrant style and passion for immense melodic moments on display throughout, featuring Years Of War, HYMNALS, Kuala, and RUNN along the way. “We’re so happy to finally share these with you after some of them being years in the works,” said Last Heroes on Instagram. “We pour ourselves into these releases and this one’s no different.”

The EP’s bookend tracks, “WHEN I WAKE UP” and “OPIA,” display the duo’s innate production abilities, with the former building energy for what’s to come while the latter washes over the ears for a memorable close to the release. “Above The Stars” with HYMNALS and “Where I Wanna Be” with RUNN also stand tall on the release. While “Above The Stars” is a perfect fit for a festival mainstage, “Where I Wanna Be” turns the dial down a notch for a far more indie-fueled ride that will leave you feeling warm inside.

Those who want to bask in the sounds of OPIA will be able to do so soon, as Last Heroes is set to embark on the conjoined tour in late February. The duo will head to Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and more on the run, with two dates still to be revealed at the end of the tour. Head to their official website to grab tickets.
