Before they call it quits, Ivy Lab will embark on A Farewell Tour for which North and Central American dates have been announced.

It’s the end of an era. Ivy Lab may be a fixture of the bass music landscape, but after this year, each current member will be pursuing different artistic horizons. Not without a bang, though, as the duo have announced plans to visit a number of US cities along with one in Costa Rica as part of the aptly named A Farewell Tour.

“After more than 10 years spreading our wings through a wild array of leftfield beats, we’ve decided to call time on our flagship project and look ahead to new adventures in sound,” reads a statement shared by Ivy Lab on social media. “2026 will be our last year of operation.”

But Ivy Lab clarified that both members, Gove “Sabre” Kidao, and Jay “Stray” Fogel,” will remain active in the music world. “Solo music is bubbling. Twenty Twenty London is keeping on,” they wrote, assuring fans that they plan to “keep growing the label into the future.”

Shortly after sharing their plans to disband, Kidao and Fogel announced the first wave of a world that will help them close out the Ivy Lab era on a high note.

Running from January 31 – July 10, the dates include appearances at gatherings like Shipwrecked Music Festival in Tampa, Gem and Jam Festival in Tucson, Deep Tropics Festival in Nashville, and Lightning in a Bottle in Bakersfield, California as well as club and theater gigs in cities like Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. The only show outside the US that has been announced as of this writing is Envision Festival in Uvita, Costa Rica, but they’ve said that others will follow in the passing weeks.

Based in North London, Ivy Lab started out as a trio in 2012; the third member, Laurence “Halogenix” Reading, left in 2018. Having been associated with the half-time and future beats movements in the early years of their career, they gained traction for their 20/20 LDN club nights. In 2015, they launched the record label of its namesake.

“This journey would have been nothing without the people that fed into the story along the way,” Ivy Lab wrote in conclusion. “We can’t thank you enough for your part in everything.”

Presale tickets go live on Friday, January 9 at 9am local time, with the general on-sale starting one hour later. Purchase yours and find additional information via Laylo.
