‘Exodus Chapter 3: Nevi’im,’ Explores Raw, Hypnotic Techno

EXODUS Recordings’ third annual techno-driven compilation, Exodus Chapter 3: Nevi’im, features Italian talent Danny Lo Scippo, Riccardo Noè, Boruwka, CNS, and Lorenzo Galardi.

Raw, hypnotic, and melodic are the three pillars of EXODUS Recordings. Founded by Italian DJ and producer Riccardo Noè, the label’s third annual compilation, Exodus Chapter 3: Nevi’im, continues to carve out a distinctive sound in techno. Named after one of the books of the Old Testament, the project acts as both a sonic and conceptual continuation of EXODUS’ biblical motif, first established in their earlier chapters that explored techno as a spiritual ritual.

EXODUS’ third installment presents five tracks that span melodic, hypnotic, and peak-time techno. Demonstrating the genre’s range and establishing the dancefloor as a church, the label’s vision is to showcase techno’s transformative power. By spotlighting rising artists who helped shape Italy’s scene in 2025 across five tracks, the compilation offers up rhythms that feel meditative and somewhat spiritual.

Italian producer Danny Lo Scippo opens the release with “Neverending FM,” a dark yet melodic techno journey that immediately establishes the emotional depth of the release. Lo Scippo, already celebrated in the European underground for his intricate synth work and cinematic grooves, proves here why he’s a natural fit for one of EXODUS’s three pillars.

Riccardo Noè, the label founder, follows with “Counterpoint 18,” a nod to piano legend Steve Reich translated into a raw and Detroit-inspired track with a minimalist attitude. After a seven-year hiatus, Noè came back this year with “Cabal,” and now he’s secured another new single with stripped-back, hypnotic patterns that continue to reflect his mastery.

Making his label debut, Boruwka showcases “Three Poles on a Circle,” a more modular and synth-driven exploration of sound and rhythm. The track’s intricate sequencing and analog feel highlight the artist’s background in experimental electronic production, positioning him as a fresh voice that aligns perfectly with EXODUS’ commitment to innovation and tradition.

Meanwhile, CNS delivers “Rangatan,” a hypnotic, dancefloor-ready cut with energy built for warehouses or peak moments. Known for his work across Europe’s major underground circuits, CNS brings a physicality to the compilation, showing listeners what he’s learned through 20 years of experience.

Closing the compilation, Lorenzo Galardi‘s almost eight-minute track “Hypnosis” feels like a raw rave anthem, combining pulsating groove with melody. Galardi’s growing reputation in Italy’s club scene makes him a well-suited anchor for the compilation, leaving listeners with a sense of wanting more, or as if they have just reached a defining moment.

The biblical allusions are more than thematic window dressing. EXODUS Chapter 3: Nevi’im mirrors the label’s intent to awaken listeners to the transformative power of techno. With its third compilation, EXODUS delivers a testament to its careful curation and the artists who continue to define Italy’s sound.
