French artist Gesaffelstein is giving everyone a holiday treat ahead of his debut live album, ENTER THE GAMMA. It drops next month following his latest tour.
The mysterious and visionary Dark Prince producer Gesaffelstein has announced that his new album, Enter The Gamma, is due out on Columbia Records on January 23. He has already offered a taste of this effort with a single from the forthcoming project, which will be a compilation of live recordings from his 2025 tour around the globe.
Enter The Gamma follows the release of his 2024 studio album, Gamma, his first record to introduce lyrics written and delivered by Yan Wagner. To satiate eager fans, “OPR Live,” the album’s lead single, is out now. This rendition of Gesaffelstein’s 2011 midtempo track, “Opr” — as heard on his Enter the Gamma Tour earlier this year — is one of 14 live versions set to appear on the album.
Earlier this year, the Dark Prince’s tour made huge stops at gatherings like Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and EDC Las Vegas. It also sold out three massive concerts in the US: at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Chicago’s Radius, and Brooklyn Mirage in New York City. Enter The Gamma is ushering in 2026 dropping just before the Grammy Awards, where Gesaffelstein is nominated for Best Remixed Recording for his rework of Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra.”
