The Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in Temple Denver’s Mirus Gallery venue on Thanksgiving Eve.
A shooting in Temple Denver‘s Mirus Gallery Space on the evening of Wednesday, November 27 has left three patrons injured, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD).
The DPD told EDM Identity in an email that the incident was reported at 10:10pm, and it culminated after an altercation had broken out. All three victims are expected to survive. A police investigation is underway, but no arrests have been made at the time of writing.
It is unclear how a firearm was made it past Temple Denver’s security screening. The nightclub has yet to respond to an email from EDM Identity.
Temple Denver’s 12th Annual All Black Attire Party was underway at the time of the shooting, featuring artists like Mr. HitDat, JhonnieDamnD, and Cermen Elena. The nightclub also routinely hosts EDM events, with upcoming headliners including Morgan Page, JVNA, and Kevin De Vries.
Temple Denver, which opened in 2017, is an offshoot of San Francisco nightclub Temple SF. The latter club closed its doors in spring 2024 after contending with “financial difficulties due to economic changes within our industry.”
This is a developing story and EDM Identity will provide additional updates as they become available.
