Dirtybird Brings Flight Week Writing Camp Abroad to Brazil

Dirtybird is bringing its community-driven Flight Week program overseas to Brazil for the first time.

Dirtybird is back to share an exciting announcement with its flock. Although we never have to wait too long before the label shocks our system with some fantastic news, this time, they’re embarking on a journey new to them and their followers alike.

Many are familiar with Dirtybird’s Flight Week writing camp program that kicked off in San Francisco earlier this summer. With its astounding success, it’s time to take it abroad, wouldn’t you agree? To continue its 20th anniversary celebration, Dirtybird has announced that Flight Week Brazil will run from November 29 to December 13.

It’s no secret that Brazil influences and inspires the Dirtybird crew. The label’s connection to the country’s underground runs deep. Dirtybird has even put artists from there in the spotlight with its February 2024 Taste of Brazil compilation, which we are still playing out.

What does Flight Week Brazil consist of, one might ask? It’s a week-long writing camp in Belo Horizonte for artists to work on new music and develop projects that bridge cultures and styles. It wouldn’t be a Dirtybird event without some club takeovers, of course. These will land in Americana, Goiânia, São Paulo, and Recife.

The lineup will feature well-known Dirtybird signees like Bruno Furlan, Buja, Cour T., DJ Glen, HeyDoc!, Malik Mustache, Plastic Robots, and Volkoder. There will also be contests for local rising producers to get in on the fun. The event will close with a special camp closing party at Sync Club that you won’t want to miss.

Join Dirtybird on their mission to bring our community together globally, and spread your wings for Flight Week Brazil. This edition only looks to carry on what the initial San Francisco edition started. It will continue the mission to merge creativity and community across the globe.

RSVP for Brazil flight week today to ensure your spot in this once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Dirtybird crew, and follow their socials to keep up with any updates!
