Tiga Announces First Album In A Decade With New Single, "Ecstasy Surrounds Me"

**Tiga spent the last ten years releasing collaborations and remixes, but he’s shared plans to release his first solo album in ten years, HotLife.**

Tiga released his last solo album, No Fantasy Required, a decade ago. Since then, fans have been waiting with bated breath for that next solo work to drop, but it’s been an elusive dream for the last few years. That’s not to say he hasn’t put out music; he’s released a collaborative album and a string of singles and remixes. But that long wait is over, as he’s announced his forthcoming album, HotLife, with the highly anticipated collaborative single, “Ecstasy Surrounds Me.” The full album is set to land April 17, 2026 via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records.

In 2023, the Canadian DJ and producer teased followers with a snippet of what would later become “Ecstasy Surrounds Me,” and everyone went crazy. Three years later, that song has come to fruition. Co-written by Matthew Dear, it’s a dancefloor-ready bop full of electro-pop and new wave, with uplifting ’80s synths and intoxicating, hypnotic melodies. Add TIGA’s autobiographical lyrics, and it’s no wonder the piece vibed with folks.

As the label boss himself puts it, “It’s rewarding to write lyrics that resonate with people on a personal level.” A deviation from Tiga’s usual powerful, intense bangers, this song encompasses all he is and aspires to be. It will be the closing track on the upcoming HotLife.

You have to live with every track you make. But you don’t love all your tracks the same. I love this track with all my heart because it makes me feel like the artist I want to be. It’s forced me to become a better man, a better father, and a pillar of my community. I will never be able to fully repay this song all I owe, but I can make it the closing tune of the best album I have ever made. That will have to be enough.

“Ecstasy Surrounds Me” follows Tiga’s previous release, “IAMWHATIAM” featuring MRD, in a series of singles coming out in 2025 to support the final 2026 album. Both have the right amount of nostalgia and forward thinking to makes the long period between albums worth it.

HotLife promises to be full of atmospheric, emotionally driven, feel-good songs, laced with that infectious high-energy Tiga’s known to bring. Full of collaborations that include Fcukers, Boys Noize, Maara, and MRD, the album sees Tiga becoming the artist he wants to be, and I, for one, am here for it.
