Escape: Psycho Circus is creeping up on you. Here’s what you need to know to survive and thrive through the two-day Halloween Weekend festival.
Escape Psycho Circus is nearly upon us. The two-day Halloween Weekend festival kicks off on Halloween night, Friday, October 31, and wraps up Saturday, November 1 after taking attendees on a spooky ride through some of dance music’s best. Ravers from around the world make their way to the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California just to be there.
The Psycho Circus theme sees new life this year with a sinister carnival that’s sure to leave a shiver down your spine and a rumble in your core. Some of the hottest DJs and producers will light up the dark with the help of some of the best visuals, pyrotechnics, and top-tier production elements.
Escape will feature seven macabre stages. The spooktacular festivity includes artists ranging from the up-and-coming Zoey808 and Alyssa Jolee to ATLiens, San Holo, deadmau5, and more.

Free general parking will be available in multiple lots surrounding the venue. They will be well lit and patrolled by security personnel during the event hours. Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk. Green, Blue, and Pink (respectively, premier, ADA, and skydeck parking) Lots open at 1:30pm. The rest of the lots will be open at 2:30pm.
Directions from the San Fernando Valley/Pasadena area: Take the 210 East to the 215 South, take exit 44A to 5th St. or exit 43 to 2nd St. for quicker access to Purple lot, Blue Lot, and Green Lot. Avoid exit 41 to Orange Show Rd. unless you are parking in the Tan Lot. For the Tan Lot, take the 215 South to exit 41 and turn right onto Auto Center Drive.
Directions from the L.A./Riverside areas: Take the 10 or 91 East to the 215 North, and take exit 43 to 2nd St. or exit 44A to 5th St. for quicker access to Purple Lot, Blue Lot, and Green Lot. Avoid exit 41 to Orange Show Rd. unless you are parking in the Tan Lot. For the Tan Lot, take the 215 North to exit 41 and turn left onto Auto Center Drive.
Follow event signs and police directions when you arrive to the area. Street parking is not recommended, and the residential and business areas around the NOS Event Center will be a tow-away zone. RVs, cargo vehicles, box trucks, panel vans, sprinter vans, and camper vans will not be permitted to access any Insomniac parking lot. All vehicles are subject to a search upon arrival.

Unfortunately, many recent festival-goers have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting attendees. It’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at Escape Psycho Circus 2025.

Prohibited Items
- NO aerosol products or cans
- NO balls or Frisbees
- NO costumes that resemble public safety uniforms (police, swat, fire, security, or medical)
- NO drones, remote-controlled aircraft, or toys
- NO drugs or drug paraphernalia
- NO gas masks
- NO glass, cans, cups, or coolers
- NO illegal substances
- NO laser pointers or air horns
- NO markers, pens, or spray paint
- NO massagers
- NO outside food or beverages (including alcohol and candy)
- NO over-the-counter medication
- NO pets
- NO professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, or commercial-use rigs)
- NO red-colored light-up wands, batons, or lightsabers
- NO stickers or flyers
- NO tents, large umbrellas, chairs, or blankets
- NO toy guns, water guns, or slingshots
- NO weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.)
- NO wind chairs or sofas
Permitted Items
- YES deodorant
- YES E-cigs and vapes
- YES festival totems and decorated pool noodles (see totem guidelines below)
- YES flags, banners, and handmade signs (no corporate or company branded, and no hard flagpoles)
- YES glowsticks and glowing or illuminated costumes and jewelry, LED poi and orbitals, and Hula hoops (including LED hoops)
- YES clear and non-clear hydration packs with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment (must be empty upon entry)
- YES non-professional flash and still cameras, handheld video devices under 6” (Sony Action Cam, GoPro, etc.), and GoPro extendable poles
- YES personal misting fan with a bottle no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon entry)
- YES physician-prescribed medication that is not expired (must show physician’s prescription and consult with a safety officer upon entry)
- YES reusable water bottles (must be empty upon entry)
- YES sealed intranasal Naloxone
- YES clear bags that do not exceed 12”x6”x12”
- YES clear and non-clear small clutch bags not exceeding 6″x9″ (15cm x 23cm) with or without handle or carrying straps
Escape Psycho Circus 2025 – Costume Guidelines:
- NO drugs or drug paraphernalia
- NO costumes that resemble police, fire, security, or medical in any way
- NO handcuffs
- NO glass or ceramic masks
- NO full-face makeup that makes you unrecognizable from your government-issued photo ID
- NO items resembling weapon or weapon accessories, real or fictional (including whips, lightsabers, axes, pocket knives, swords, guns, fake weapons/props, etc.)
- NO violent props, including crops, whips, ropes, chains, or tethers
- NO sharp metal spikes
- Please remember that we are an inclusive community, and costumes and decorations should not misrepresent race, religion, or cultural heritage
Escape Psycho Circus 2025 Totem Guidelines:
- Maximum height is 10 feet
- Totems must be made from a lightweight material (e.g. foam or PVC, no solid metal)
- Collapsible or telescoping camera extenders that follow the above guidelines are okay (lightweight, hollow aluminum, or polycarbonate)
- PVC, light wood or aluminum poles must be no thicker than 1 inch in diameter
- Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entrance through security
- Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry
- Any item deemed dangerous will not be allowed
- Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech will not be permitted (please keep it PLUR)
