SPENNY Takes Center Stage with ‘Event Horizon’

SPENNY further solidifies his name in the music scene with his debut EP, Event Horizon.

SPENNY is a Denver artist rapidly rising from the local talent pool to the big leagues. With a passion deeply rooted and a community in full support, the DJ and producer is on the path to see his name topping the bill at massive venues.

The year 2025 has seen quite the breakout so far for SPENNY, as he has gained traction following his busy and successful summer. Between his appearances at festivals like Badger Bass Camp, many surprise b2bs, the announcement of 2026 tour support for INZO, and a sold-out EP release party at The Black Box, it’s safe to say SPENNY has all of our heads on a swivel.

One way to tell if an artist’s bark is louder than their bite is by seeing them put their music visions into a body of work. After listening to SPENNY’s debut EP, Event Horizon, we can confidently say you’ll be needing stitches. As his debut EP, it’s clear SPENNY poured his heart into this project, and if you press play, you can feel it.

The EP opens with sounds that paint a calm, fog-laced nature scene on “Pillars Of Creation.” With the help of Sokota, SPENNY takes listeners from serenity to controlled chaos with textured warbles that open up new avenues of experimental sounds to add to your musical palette.

“Ascension” feels as if angels are singing in your ear as the track eases in. The switch is flipped once the sexy percussion kicks in, accompanied by some UK grime lyricism. Heater alert!

Harmony meets outer-space-experimental beats wrapped up with one big red bow on “Singularity.” You’ll want to hit the repeat button on this one to take it all in. Not just this track, but the entire EP represents the title perfectly.

There are three facts in the shape of songs on the Event Horizon EP that prove there is no one quite like SPENNY. And the beauty of it is that he’s just getting started.

Listen to Event Horizon on your favorite platform and make sure to keep up with SPENNY’s socials to see what he’s up to next!
