Hysta takes hardcore to unprecedented heights with her brand-new DJ set recorded from the Eiffel Tower in Paris!
The year 2025 has already been monumental for the harder styles. New sounds are emerging, European artists are winning over US audiences, and the homegrown scene is thriving. Still, it’s not too late to add to the scene’s list of achievements, and French artist Hysta has done that by taking hardcore to new heights with a brand-new set recorded at the Eiffel Tower!
For this project, Hysta recorded a 60-minute set from the second floor of the world-famous Paris structure, paying homage to the legends that came before her while continuing to blaze her path in the scene. Her unique style — blending legacy and innovation — is on full display, honoring the origins of hardcore and keeping the spirit of the underground alive.
Of course, this was no easy feat as Hysta organized this event independently without a production company backing her. “It took almost two years to make it happen,” she said. “Most of the budget went into renting the venue, and the rest was done with our own gear and skills.” Even on the day of, unpredictable weather and protests in France almost caused plans to fall through. Still, Hysta’s resilient spirit carried her against all odds to present this masterclass of a set.
As the performance marks a significant milestone in her career, Hysta made sure to include plenty of special records, like her newest collaboration with Korsakoff titled “Little Things.” This record was created specifically for this occasion as both artists reimagined the iconic “Comptines d’un Autre été” from the famous French film Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain. Hysta and Korsakoff fuse tradition with modernity, proving that there’s still beauty to be found in the chaos of hardcore. Fans can get their hands on their rendition on October 24 via Masters of Hardcore.
Fans will also find timeless records from legends like Dune and Advanced Dealer, together with the best of the present like Angerfist and Hysta’s newest release, “Till I Die.” Hysta also treats her loyal fans to plenty of unreleased music, like two new collaborations with Promo and Endymion, which make their debut in this set. Additionally, her unreleased remixes of “Oxygen” by Bass Modulators and “Illusion of Time” by Dr. Peacock make appearances.
While this set may seem like simply another milestone for hardcore, Hysta makes it clear that this transcends music by delivering a universal message of hope. “It shows that one can rise from nothing, and that even a genre once repressed and misunderstood can reach the world’s most iconic monument,” she said.
