Nathan Alzon makes his debut on LOCUS with The Getdown EP, which features five tracks packed with infectious grooves and distinct sonic flavors.

Taipei-born, Amsterdam-based artist Nathan Alzon bridges continents and cultures in his music. His multicultural heritage gives rise to a sound that moves fluidly across borders. Drawing on both European and Asian influences, his house productions leave a lasting impression that resonates beyond the dance floor. Over the years, Nathan’s releases on ANOTR’s No Art and Yaya’s Tamango Records have propelled his status onto the global stage, while his regular presence at club venues like Thuishaven and Shelter has also cultivated a loyal following.

Building on that momentum, Nathan now makes his debut on Enzo Siragusa’s LOCUS with his latest EP, The Getdown, a fiery release that amplifies his global sound and showcases his precision in delivering intense heat on the dancefloor. Although the project comprises just five songs, each one offers its own unique flavor and texture, just like a carefully curated tasting menu.

Wasting no time, the EP takes flight with the title track, as Nathan stakes his claim on the global house scene. The UKG-inspired rhythm delivers pounding intensity that makes your heart surge with every beat. From there, “Move Your Body” picks up the momentum, layering crisp, rolling percussion over a hypnotic groove that feels unstoppable. Just as the title suggests, the track compels you to keep moving with a sense of euphoria.

Taking a playful turn, “Hot Stuff” features classic house beats paired with a sense of mischievous energy that bounces with a cheeky character. Then, “X TO C” shifts the mood to the dark side, highlighting Nathan’s skills in twisting acid bass lines with a sinister late-night energy. The journey culminates with the final track “Here’s The House,” which ties the EP together with modern house grooves. From the first track to the last, Nathan guides the listeners through a dynamic journey full of unexpected turns and surprising leaps. The result is a rich, immersive project that reflects his diverse, multicultural roots.
