Consisting of 14 tracks, CONTACT is arriving at a career high for Sub Focus, one of the members of the world-famous WORSHIP crew.

Sub Focus is certainly no newcomer to drum and bass, but it’s safe to say that recent years have been some of the most exciting in his career. With this in mind, his fourth studio-length album, CONTACT, looks to be a vibrant snapshot of where he stands in his creative journey. It releases via Universal Music Group on November 21.

The CONTACT tracklist includes a number of collaborations with some of the biggest artists in dance music. Many have already come out as singles, including “Go Back” with John Summit featuring Julia Church, “On & On” featuring bbyclose, and “Push The Tempo” featuring Katy B. Others — like “Entwined” featuring Grimes and “Ecuador” featuring Fireboy DML — have yet to be heard by the general public.

The full album release also includes a double vinyl LP that owes its novel look to a heptagonal album cover jacket with art direction by photographer Neil Krug and the design agency Big Active. A USB edition will also include bonus tracks.

Sub Focus (real name Nicolaas Douwma) is a producer’s producer who first started tinkering in DAWs at only 13. His first brush with success came in 2003, when he handed Andy C a demo CD and ultimately got signed to RAM Records.

Even as releases like 2005’s X-Ray / Scarecrow and 2009’s Rock It / Follow the Light soared across the charts, Douwma’s involvement with the WORSHIP crew amid drum and bass’ Stateside resurgence has arguably brought him his biggest milestones. He ushered in 2025 by selling out London’s Alexandra Palace, and his sold-out Red Rocks show slated for this month marks the first time a drum and bass DJ has headlined the world-famous venue.

Pre-save CONTACT across streaming platforms, and wait to see if Sub Focus shares additional cuts from the album in the weeks leading up to its release.
