HI-LO Returns to Drumcode with Two Explosive Tracks

HI-LO’s latest EP, REESE, marks another high-impact drop that sees him return to Adam Beyer’s Drumcode.

When an artist thrives under multiple aliases, it’s a testament to their creativity and versatility. Few have managed to master that, but Oliver Heldens does it effortlessly. Over the past year, he’s showcased his signature sound under his main moniker and explored many darker and more intense sounds as HI-LO.

The HILOMATIK label boss’ annual release on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint has been eagerly anticipated by fans. Following projects like “DIZZY,” “CRESCENDO,” “WANNA GO BANG,” and “HYPNOS,” HI-LO has now returned to the label once again to drop the explosive EP, REESE.

The title track strikes the perfect balance between light and dark. With brooding intensity and relentless bass, the song captures HI-LO at his absolute best. He has been playing “REESE” throughout his summer festival sets and even teased a vocal mashup of it with Kaskade and HAYLA‘s “Escape,” which has received overwhelming praise from fans.

The EP’s other track, “FLORESTA FUNK,” is an addictive banger that moves the floor with rhythmically compelling basslines and punchy percussion. This song radiates with the type of infectious energy that has made HI-LO’s sets so magnetic and captivating.

This year alone, HI-LO has been on a roll dropping singles like “INFERNO,” “Born To Love,” “Work That Body,” “United in Trance,” and “The Orange Theme.” Beyond these releases, he also revisited his 2014 Oliver Heldens classic hit “KOALA,” delivering a darker and more intense remix. Infused with warm, brooding basslines and an edgy twist, the new rendition reaffirms HI-LO’s unique talent for channeling two distinct sonic identities.

Coming up, HI-LO is taking the two worlds of his musical personas on the road for an American tour. He’ll be performing in major cities like Brooklyn, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. All tour dates and ticket details are available on his official website.

Listen to REESE on Spotify or your preferred platform and make sure to follow HI-LO on social media to stay updated on tours and new music.
