London-based imprint Anjunadeep — the deep house arm of Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats record label — has built its reputation on blending euphoria with nostalgia, and Cornelius SA’s latest release, the My Love For You EP, leans deeply into that signature sound. It’s a six-track project that captures both the label’s identity and the producer’s own deep house, melodic techno, and Afro influences.

Cornelius SA has steadily carved out his niche in the Anjuna family, bringing a uniquely South African perspective to its deep and melodic sounds. Back in 2018, he earned double recognition at the Dance Music Awards South Africa when his collaboration with Zimbabwean vocalist Jackie Queens, “Feel It Now,” was nominated for both Best House Record and Best EDM Record. Since first joining Anjunadeep in 2020, he’s released a debut album via Anjunachill, making the My Love For You EP a triumphant return to Anjunadeep after sharing gems under one of the label’s other imprints.

Featuring three tracks with supporting extended mixes, the effort comes at a milestone moment for Cornelius SA, one that marks his fifth year with the Anjunadeep family. Los Angeles singer-songwriter duo Elliot Vast lends a deeper and more melodic touch to “My Love For You” in his remix of the otherwise bouncy source material. Then come artists Sebee and Ra5im with “Longing,” a piano-led cut that leaves listeners with a sense of closure.
