RÜFÜS DU SOL Announce Return To Zamna Tulum In January

RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Jon George and James Hunt have confirmed their upcoming return to Zamna Tulum for a special DJ set.

Having recently capped off the North American leg of their Inhale / Exhale world tour, RÜFÜS DU SOL have freshly announced their 2026 return to Mexico‘s beautifully lush Zamna Tulum for an updated DJ set alongside some very special guests.

Scheduled for January 4 of next year, Zamna Tulum’s 2026 kickoff event will feature live mixing from Together We Dance Alone co-owner Dixon alongside Swiss “Pushing On” producer Jimi Jules, Turkish DJ Carlita, Danish trio Tripolism, and RÜFÜS DU SOL’s very own Jon George and James Hunt. Carefully curated by George and Hunt themselves, the event lineup tastefully captures the modern electronic soundscapes admired by the globally esteemed headlining act.

While RÜFÜS DU SOL is indeed billed for said headlining slot, all three members of the band will not be present for this special DJ set. Synthesizer technician Jon George and percussion prodigy James Hunt perform as a duo — sans lead singer Tyrone Lindqvist — during DJ bookings. These don’t require RÜFÜS DU SOL’s notably spectacular live production elements, which were employed to the nth degree over the course of the 2010-founded band’s record-breaking tour run across North America.

Still, RÜFÜS DU SOL — and their tastefully crafted imprint, Rose Avenue Records — only sign on to high quality events that platform top-quality electronic music. Jon George and James Hunt’s upcoming DJ set at Zamna Tulum, not to mention the performances from the exceptional support squad, should be a remarkably inspiring way to kick off the live DJ scene of 2026.
