Ryussi's Newest Release Lands on HE.SHE.THEY

**Ryussi’s most recent release, Always in Motion, showcases their willingness to be open and vulnerable with audiences.**

A DJ and producer hailing from across the pond, Ryussi’s been working hard in and out of the studio. From performing throughout the UK to dropping a steady stream of releases, they’ve made their presence known—and their newest EP continues that trajectory. Last week, Ryussi returned to HE.SHE.THEY to deliver the Always in Motion EP, a two-tracker that arrived the same night they spun a mix for the brand’s show on BBC Radio 1.

Previously releasing Means of Change, Dream Before You Wake, and secrets on HE.SHE.THEY, Always In Motion continues Ryussi’s journey and displays their propensity for storytelling. “Growth” with Louis Theron and “Orion,” the two tunes on the EP, offer provocative and mesmerizing melodies that are interspersed with deep emotion and understated basslines.

This EP feels like a real step forward for me. It captures how my sound has evolved and become more refined over time, and I’m really proud of where it’s landed. I’m grateful to be releasing it with HE.SHE.THEY., a label that’s supported my growth from the start.

Lead track “Orion” offers upbeat elements that will immediately draw your attention. It’s bouncy and otherworldly, with subtle bass and ever-present synths. Although lacking any true lyrics, the music says everything that Ryussi wants to say throughout its runtime.

“Growth” features the relatable themes of contemplation and considering one’s actions within relationships. Ryussi’s atmospheric deep house grooves encapsulate the song’s raw honesty. Add Louis Theron’s velvety, soulful vocals, and you have a soundscape that’s celestial and airy, with the right amount of flair. “Having Louis on vocals made it all come full circle,” Ryussi shared. “The whole thing just came together so naturally, it feels like exactly where I’m at right now.”
