Rebūke Opens Doors to the ‘World Of Era’

Rebūke creates a captivating realm for listeners to escape to on his stunning debut album, World Of Era.

Techno has been the pulse of the electronic music scene for decades, with different artists carving out sonic niches for themselves along the way. One who has continued to turn heads has been Rebūke, an acclaimed producer who has embraced the sound of melodic techno and released on esteemed labels such as Drumcode, Dirtybird, Trick, Afterlife, and more along the way. His imprint, ERA, has been a home to many fresh tunes in recent years, and that’s where his debut album, World Of Era, has landed.

The 15-track album from Rebūke isn’t just a collection of melodic techno tunes that have been thrown together haphazardly; there’s intention behind these tunes. Its title track and “Beyond The World” act as proper bookends to this journey of sonic exploration that’s filled with emotion-twinged moments that will make your heart flutter and others that are best suited for a darkened warehouse.

World Of Era begins with a flurry of collaborations that hit the mark. “Ignite” with Au/Ra, “Teardrops” with Karin Park, and “Forever” with P.T. Adamczyk and Aya Anne all help this album start on the right foot as captivating melodies and booming moments are paired with angelic vocals that touch the soul.

Another collaboration that arrives soon after, “Endless” with deadmau5 and Ed Graves, is one of the album’s most stunning tunes, with its intoxicating blend of progressive-twinged elements and a strong vocal performance. “Choose Life” with Linska also stands tall, providing a proper dancefloor moment with its chugging bassline and warbled elements, making it a solid tune to play at peak hour.

Rebūke’s solo tunes are just as prominent throughout World Of Era. You’ll find yourself completely hypnotized by “Where You Are,” while others like “Synth404,” “Aingeal,” and “Juno” show off his prowess in creating dynamic soundscapes that keep you on your toes as the seconds tick away.

Give the World Of Era a spin on Spotify or your preferred streaming service, and stay tuned for more from Rebūke by following his social media channels.
