Jaymie Silk Demands ‘More Love, Less War’ on New EP

Jaymie Silk turns the dancefloor into a rallying cry for peace and love on his latest EP, More Love, Less War, out on He.She.They.

Drawing from his Afro-European heritage and a fearless approach to experimentation, Paris-based artist, DJ, and producer Jaymie Silk refuses to play by the rules of any genre. His music combines a bold range of African rhythms and club-ready house and techno to channel themes of identity, resistance, and cultural heritage.

For Silk, the dancefloor is a space for healing and connection. From last year’s Ghetto Capitalism EP to his Missing Tracks album trilogy released earlier this year, he continues to prove there’s no slowing him down. His uncompromising work ethic and bold creative vision have made him a vital force in the global underground scene. In his latest project, he returns to He.She.They for his newest heartfelt EP, More Love, Less War.

Right off the bat, the title track, “More Love, Less War,” blasts off with thumping beats and a sense of political urgency. The high-energy anthem delivers exactly what the title promises: a powerful message underscored by warped vocals that echo a rallying cry to unite the dancefloor. As the lyrics say, “it’s not a slogan, it’s a call to open your heart, to feel what’s been forgotten.” Silk calls for everyone to choose togetherness over conflict.

Next comes “Always In My Mind,” a track that hits with a bouncy energy and just the right amount of edge. Anchored by an addictive vocal and gritty basslines, this number playfully nods to ’90s disco while showcasing Silk’s eclectic production style. Listen closely to this EP and you’ll uncover the empowering message at the heart of this meaningful project. It’s designed to move bodies and hearts in equal measure.
