Sound Haven week is finally here, and this guide will cover set times, maps, and all of the information you need to make a safe journey to Jaceland.

The end of summer means Sound Haven season for bass music fans, who are preparing to make their journey back to Jaceland in Whitwell, Tennessee, on July 31 – August 3 for the beloved event’s seventh edition. What started as a tiny fan-made gathering with a few dozen attendees in 2018 has blossomed into one of the most coveted festivals in the underground bass music community.

Tucked into a very secluded, rural part of central Tennessee, a four-day weekend at Jaceland is not for the unprepared. In addition to being prepared with all of the classic camping festival necessities, Sound Haven attendees should take even more precautions than at the average event.

Sound Haven not only experiences extremely high temperatures with high humidity, but also very severe storm weather. Each year, there is at least one heavy thunderstorm, so be sure to have all the necessary campsite and clothing accommodations for all weather conditions. If you have a vehicle with four-wheel drive, definitely take it to the festival.
