Flava D teamed up with Anaïs and Dread MC on “Entertainer,” released alongside the news that her debut album, Here & Now, is due to arrive in September.

The drum and bass scene has been filled with talented artists who hail from the UK over the past few decades, and Flava D is one you should be keeping your ears tuned to. This English DJ and producer has been dominating the decks since 2006 with her dynamic style that draws influences from UK Garage, grime, bassline, and, of course, drum and bass. Flava D continues to make significant moves in the scene with each passing year, and now, she’s gearing up for her debut album, Here & Now.

Due out via Hospital Records this September, Here & Now marks a massive milestone for the London-based artist as it’s her most ambitious release to date. The album is set to feature 15 tracks that not only showcase her production prowess but also her curatorial ear, dynamic nature, and collaborative spirit.

Ecstatic and low-key terrified to announce my debut album ‘Here & Now’ is finally on the way! I spent the last 3 years overthinking how it should sound. I wanted to ensure it reflected all the different styles that make me, me. I’m so happy with how the project turned out.

Flava D

Flava D’s latest single, “Entertainer,” recently landed in the midst of her appearance at Hospitality On The Beach and exudes everything there is to love about her sound. She looked to labelmate Anaïs and the ever-legendary Dread MC to bring this razor-sharp, peak-time tune to life. The powerful vocal performance from Dread MC blends effortlessly with the synths and booming bassline, creating a soundscape that will have you bopping right along with it.

While “Entertainer” is the latest taste of what’s in store on Here & Now, other previously released singles will find a home on the forthcoming album. These include “Fluent” with Emz, “Can’t Get It Back” with SOLAH, “All We Ever Do” with Paige Eliza and DRS, and “Do U Want Me,” all of which paint a picture of what this majestic ride will sound like once it arrives toward the end of summer.

Listen to this fresh drum and bass tune from Flava D on Spotify or your preferred platform, pre-save Here & Now ahead of its release on September 5, and stay tuned for more to come by following her social media channels.
