In addition to a new Pride Month single, Cheat Codes have shared the release date for their fifth studio album, Future Renaissance.

As Pride Month draws to a close, multi-platinum dance trio Cheat Codes—joined by New York-bred non-binary vocalist LP—have delivered an anthemic tribute in honor of the LGBTQ+ community, “Human.” In addition to the celebratory new single, members Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell, and KEVI, who formed Cheat Codes in 2014, have announced Future Renaissance, a 10-year anniversary album scheduled to land later this summer.

Now streaming everywhere, Cheat Codes’ latest single has materialized as a stutter-house-meets-drum-and-bass ode to gay pride and human unity. Anthemic by nature, “Human” stays true to the trio’s dance pop roots while driving forward a meaningful new message in support of the LGBTQ+ community. “We’ll be dancing ’til the hurting’s done/We’re only human,” declares 44-year-old Laura Pergolizzi, professionally known as LP, on the new track.

“When Cheat Codes sent me the track, it already had this incredible energy,” LP said in regard to the release. “I just wanted to match that and bring something personal to it. It was all about capturing a feeling and letting it flow! I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Tied to the release of “Human,” Cheat Codes also announced the July 25 due date for their 10-year anniversary album, Future Renaissance.

Future Renaissance marks the trio’s fifth studio album, and their first long-form project since 2023’s One Night In Nashville. The decade-celebrating LP will consist of 15 tracks, eight of which are already streaming. Six of the album’s eight early inclusions boast collaborations with Kenny G, Train, salem ilese, Öwnboss, Julia Church, and now LP, respectively.

The forthcoming album will likely extend its list of head-turning collaborators come release day. Until then, browse Cheat Codes’ upcoming tour dates, stream “Human,” and pre-save Future Renaissance on Spotify.
