Martin Garrix has a New Album on the Way

Martin Garrix also just shared that he wrapped a “very aggressive club song” in addition to announcing his sophomore album.

Martin Garrix fans have reason to rejoice today. Nearly a decade into his career, the Dutch artist finally released his debut album, Sentio, back in 2022. Now, he’s shared that he expects to deliver a sophomore studio-length effort sometime in early 2026.

In conversation with French broadcasting platform Fun Station, Martin Garrix (real name Martijn Garritsen) shared that he had “just finished the master for a new, very aggressive club song.” Emphasizing his excitement about it, he specified that it was “not a radio song” and more like something that “will work very well at, like, Tomorrowland.”

This might come as a surprise to fans who remember Garritsen telling Polish station Radio RFM MAXX that he planned to release “more pop stuff” in 2025. But what he said next is turning even more heads.

“I’m working on an album,” Garritsen said in no uncertain terms. He went on to share that he’s aiming to release it “early next year,” explaining that he wants to finish it by November so that his team has enough time to plan a promotional strategy.

Garritsen has remained a well-known fixture of EDM ever since “Animals” — the track he cut at only 17 — put him on the map in 2013. In the years since, he’s had the opportunity to work with artists as notable as Ed Sheeran, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa.

And despite Garritsen’s recent revelation that he plans to “play less shows,” the Dutchman is still giving fans plenty of chances to see him play. On Friday, June 27, for instance, he’s slated to perform his first-ever headline show at LA State Historic Park in Southern California.

No title, release date, tracklist, or any other specific details are available for the upcoming Martin Garrix album at the time of writing.
