Solid Grooves Celebrates Its 100th Release with Stellar Ten-Track Summer Sampler

The first summer sampler from Solid Grooves in four years also marks Michael Bibi and PAWSA’s return to the label since 2023.

Solid Grooves has marked a major milestone by dropping Summer Sampler 2025. The label’s 100th release and the fifth installment of the series arrives just a week before the crew’s season opener at DC10 in Ibiza. The ten‑track collection doubles as a look into what the label’s founders, Michael Bibi and PAWSA, have built since 2015: an extremely tight-knit family rooted in house music made for the dancefloor.

The compilation wastes no time in showcasing this talent. Bibi kicks things off with “Lil Freaky,” followed by PAWSA’s chunky groove “Rendezvous.” Longtime members step up. Next, Dennis Cruz teams with Pumpkin on the hypnotic “Monochrome,” Blackchild turns up the funk on “Reminder,” and KinAhau brings “Coltrane Distress.”

Ben Sterling’s “Automatic X‑Files,” Bassel Darwish’s “Moment,” Reelow’s percussive “Conga‑Ratulations,” and Ramin Rezaie’s “What I Want” keep the energy surging before Silvie Loto makes an impressive label debut with “Take No Shush.” Together, each track captures the past, present, and future of what is now the iconic Solid Grooves sound.

What began as a London underground party has grown into a label and brand that packs out clubs from Los Angeles to Ibiza. Speaking of events, This ethos will be on full display when Solid Grooves returns to DC10 on June 5 for the first of 18 takeovers on Thursdays running through October 2.

The opening night features heavy hitters, including many of those on this compilation, like Ben Sterling, Blackchild, and Dennis Cruz, along with Salomé Le Chat, KOKO, and ANOTR. Expect the Casino Motel concept to level up under this year’s Enter the Dragon theme while the Summer Sampler’s tracks inevitably are played out across DC10 all season long.
