You’ve been releasing music for nearly a decade now. How has your mindset when it comes to creating songs evolved from the start of your career to now as a seasoned artist?
From the very beginning, I’ve always strived to create music that feels timeless—something that can resonate just as deeply years from now as it does today. I’m less concerned with what’s trending and more focused on creating songs that carry lasting emotional weight and artistic depth. I think that mindset is a big reason why fans who discovered my music years ago are still showing up to shows today—they’ve formed a lasting connection with the music and the feeling behind it.
You played the Forest House Art Car at EDC Las Vegas this past weekend to close out Friday night! What was your experience performing at one of the world’s biggest festivals?
Playing the Forest House at EDC Las Vegas was an unforgettable experience. The vibe there is completely unique as it’s a more intimate setting compared to the other stages, but the energy is just as electric. It’s definitely a hidden gem within the festival, and marked the first-ever PLS&TY sunrise set.
While you’ve had releases on a number of labels throughout your career, you recently signed a record deal with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. How do you think having the backing of a major imprint will help you with reaching new audiences?
Signing with Dim Mak feels like a natural evolution in my journey. I’ve been lucky to release music on a range of labels, but having the support of a brand as influential as Dim Mak brings a different level of momentum. What’s most exciting is that they support my creative vision, which enables me to stay true to my sound while expanding my reach to a much larger audience.

Your new EP, Into The Light, features three distinct tracks that show your production range. Can you share some insight into the creative process behind it?
Into The Light is an emotional reflection of the human experience, and that’s something I really wanted to capture throughout the EP. Each track speaks to moments we all encounter—whether it’s heartbreak, uncertainty, or the enduring power of love and connection. The creative process was about tapping into these universal emotions, making something that people could truly relate to.
I want listeners to feel like they’re not alone in their struggles. This EP is for anyone who’s ever needed a reminder that the light is still there, even in dark times—it’s just waiting for you to find it and step into it. Every song on this project represents that journey of moving from darkness into something brighter, and I hope it resonates with people on that deeper level.
The synth-driven dance-pop song “Leave The Light On” enlists the vocal talents of x.o. anne. How do you go about finding new vocalists who can enhance and elevate your tracks?
I was looking for someone whose voice could capture the emotion and energy of the instrumental, and x.o. anne’s vocals just clicked perfectly. I usually discover new vocalists through Spotify or even social media, but what I’m always drawn to is authenticity and uniqueness.
Along with your recent signing to a major label, you’ve also joined the CS3 Agency for talent representation. Are there any markets you haven’t played yet that you’re eager to make your debut in?
I’m really excited about the opportunity to be heading back to some of my favorite cities like New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and so many more. I’m looking forward to revisiting these spots and creating unforgettable experiences with the fans who’ve been with me along the way.
