Levity are gearing up to debut a brand-new stage show at Mission Ballroom in Denver this fall.
Chicago EDM trio Levity are on an absolute tear lately. Last fall saw them release their debut EP, Escapism Vol. 1, followed by a completely sold-out North American tour. Capitalizing on the momentum, the outfit have announced a new stage show dubbed Lasership set to debut at Mission Ballroom in Denver on November 21.
“This is something we’ve been working on for a while now and we can’t wait to show y’all all that Lasership has to offer,” Levity wrote in an Instagram post. “Our goal is to always grow & one up ourselves with our shows, bringing our vision to life while creating a unique experience that we hope will blow your socks off!”
In keeping with the visual themes of the event flyer, Levity promise “a spaceship equipped with a buttload of lasers.” It remains to be seen what exactly the Lasership entails — but the Mission Ballroom debut isn’t likely to be its only appearance.
Levity consists of John Hauldren, PJ Carberry, and Josh Tarum, who collectively specialize in an eclectic brand of bass music. In conversation with Julia Kauffman for MP3 MAG, the trio explained that Hauldren and Carberry launched the project in 2019 with Tarum joining in 2022. Their careers quickly gained momentum after video of their Electric Forest 2023 performance circulated far and wide on social media.
As of right now, Levity are in the midst of a tour that will soon take them to Omaha, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and Miami, in that order. The trio are slated to perform at GRiZ’s Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, Virginia the month before they come to Denver for the debut of Lasership.
Presale tickets to Lasership go live Wednesday, April 30 at 10am MT, with the general on-sale starting the following day at 9am. Sign up for updates via Levity’s Linktree.
