Interstellar Drops First-Ever Compilation, ‘Celestia’

in New Releases

Leena Punks, Elliot Vast, Huminal, and Daijo are the featured artists on Interstellar Recordings’ debut compilation, Celestia Vol. 1.

Interstellar might’ve gotten off to a bit of a rocky start after the debut edition of their festival was canceled, but the emerging brand from Insomniac hasn’t let off the gas over the past few years. Since then, they’ve curated fresh lineups centered on progressive house and melodic house and techno at festivals and nightclubs, while also launching a label to give tracks in those realms a new home.

Many established artists and rising acts have graced Interstellar Recordings since its inception. Now, they’re taking it to the next level with another medium to discover fresh sounds – a new compilation series called Celestia. The first volume has landed with four tracks from artists who are staking a claim in the scene today: Leena Punks, Elliot Vast, Huminal, and Daijo.

Leena Punks’ “I Don’t Know” roars forward as the lead track of the foursome, putting crooning vocals over an atmospheric intro before punching you with a dose of energy that’s fit for a mainstage. Both drops on this tune are sublime. To let you take a breath, Elliot Vast arrives next with the intoxicating “Calling,” which is sure to leave you captivated. Huminal keeps that chilled-out vibe rolling strong with “Unfold,” bringing along plenty of uplifting, light-hearted melodies that you can’t help but fall in love with.

Another standout among the collection comes from Canadian producer Daijo. “War Inside” is a hypnotic melodic techno tune that’s dripping with energy and raw emotion, especially with the stunning vocals from Jordan Grace layered in. “We all fight battles within ourselves,” he shared. “‘War Inside’ captures that struggle but also the strength we find in overcoming it. I wanted to channel that emotion into something powerful, something that moves people both physically and emotionally.”

Give Celestia Vol. 1 a spin on Spotify or your preferred streaming service, and stay tuned for more from Interstellar by following the brand’s social media channels.
