Cristoph Delivers Sensational Soundscapes on Debut Artist Album

Cristoph showcases his mastery in the progressive house realm with the 18 tracks found on his debut artist album, Life Through A Different Lens.

If there’s one thing that Cristoph has proven over the years, it’s that he seemingly can’t miss when creating tunes in the progressive house realm. A true master of his craft, this UK-based DJ and producer continues to churn out stunning soundscapes that have found a home on labels ranging from Pryda Presents and Anjunadeep to Factory 93 Records and his own imprint, Consequence Of Society.

One thing missing from Cristoph’s lengthy discography is a proper artist album; he looked to change that in 2025. After teasing that he had a significant project in the works earlier this year, he’s now delivered Life Through A Different Lens, an 18-track body of work that you can’t help but fall in love with.

Press play on the album, and you’ll immediately be immersed in a world filled with soul-stirring vocals, dancefloor-ready melodies, and more. The dive to the depths begins with “See Me Now,” which features captivating vocals from Afnan Prince, piano keys that hit you right in the chest, and a chugging beat that carries you forward. Similar thematic elements are found in the next tune, “A New Chapter” with MANNY, which keeps this train running at full speed into the night.

While progressive house is the main genre that dominates much of Life Through A Different Lens, there’s plenty more that Cristoph looked to explore. “String Thing” features a hypnotic vocal sample, vibrant strings, and more, making it perfect for any disco dancefloor. “Fractal” with ADZ is a dark techno tune that will warp your mind while the seconds tick away. “Where Do We Go” is another bop found on the album, with its bright bumping bassline and vocal sample working in unison to create a groovy gem you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

Flip back to Cristoph’s main squeeze (progressive house), and you’ll find plenty of stunners throughout the collection. The performance from Jem Cooke on “Paradise” alone makes that tune stand tall, but the rest of its soundscape is just pure, unadulterated bliss. Others that stuck out as special include “Surrender” with Luke Coulson, “Cicada,” “Redwood,” “ReRun,” and “Apollo,” yet there isn’t a moment on Life Through A Different Lens that you’ll want to skip. It’s one of the best albums that’s landed this year, and if you get the chance to see Cristoph play these tunes live, you’ll surely find yourself swept away.
