SVDDEN DEATH, Nostalgix, Of The Trees and Excision himself are among the more than 80 artists on the Bass Canyon 2025 lineup.
Following no shortage of fanfare, Excision Presents has delivered the phase one lineup for this year’s Bass Canyon. The event brand sent ripples through the bass head community this week by hosting a series of pop-up parties called Decipher The Drop in anticipation of the announcement. Now, the first 80 artists slated to perform at this year’s gathering at The Gorge in Quincy, Washington on August 15-17 are here.
And what a lineup (so far) it is. On the heavy dubstep end of the spectrum are major names like SVDDEN DEATH, MUST DIE!, Cyclops, and Calcium. Meanwhile, artists like Of The Trees, Tape B, and Space Laces will give fans of weirder, wonkier bass music reason to attend.
Phase one of the Bass Canyon 2025 lineup also includes a fair number of outliers. Adventure Club will deliver a heaping helping of melodic bass music. Nostalgix will deliver a bass house set with plenty of other styles mixed in for good measure. KOAN Sound will represent the more Avant-Garde and experimental sort of bass music that was alive and well prior to the North American dubstep explosion of 2010-2015.
Of course, Excision himself will also perform at the festival. Three times, in fact; once alongside Atlanta duo ATLiens, and twice solo, one of which will be one of his esteemed “Detox” sets. The heavy dubstep don is known to put on a mind-bending stage show, and he constantly finds new ways to leverage his celebrity to platform up-and-coming artists.
The names of 14 acts are blurred out on the phase one lineup. These will presumably be announced in the months leading up to the event.
