Madeon appears to be debuting a new live show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre later in the year.
Lately, it seems like everyone is entering a new era of sorts. For some, it’s a “villain era,” and for others, it might be a “healing era.” Madeon is among them, and he looks to christening one his own at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on October 3 — but exactly what it entails remains to be seen.
Madeon (real name Hugo Pierre Leclercq) posted a black-and-white photo of himself in a sharp outfit with forced perspective on Instagram. “I’m introducing a brand new era at Red Rocks,” reads the caption. “Join us October 3rd for the premiere of a new live show, new music, new Madeon.”
Details surrounding Leclercq’s new era are scarce, and that appears to be by design. One line of the text at the bottom of the image reads, “MADEON ?????? LIVE,” suggesting that the concept behind the stage show will be announced sometime in the months leading up to the event.
The last stage show Leclercq introduced was Good Faith Forever in 2021, which was inspired by his 2019 album, Good Faith. After numerous impactful performances under the live concept, he finally capped it off with a November 2023 appearance at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
If Leclercq’s upcoming era is anything like the last, it won’t be limited to a single night at Red Rocks. He hasn’t announced any further dates, however — or whether the body of work included in the concept will be another studio-length album.
Artist presale for Madeon’s October 3 Red Rocks Amphitheatre show goes live on Wednesday, March 26 at 10am MT. Sign up for updates via Laylo.
