Hey, Pretty Pink! Thanks so much for chatting with us. You’ve been jet-setting around the world as of late, fresh off performances at Groove Cruise Miami, EDC Mexico, and a plethora of other events on your radar. When fans come to see your signature sound and sparkle, what thoughts and emotions do you hope they leave your set with?
Thanks for having me! For me, it’s all about taking people on a journey. I want them to leave the dancefloor feeling euphoric, inspired, and completely immersed in the music. My sets are carefully curated to create a story, building emotions, tension, and release. It’s amazing to see people lose themselves in the moment, connecting not just with the music but with each other. If they walk away with that feeling of unity and a lasting memory, then I know I’ve done my job.
Congratulations on your Deep Woods radio show recently hitting its 300th episode! When reflecting back on why you started this project or any standout memories over the years, what comes to mind?
Thank you! Deep Woods started as a passion project. A way to share my love for melodic house and techno beyond the club scene. Over the years, it’s grown into something much bigger: a community and a platform where I can showcase new music and artists who inspire me. One of my favorite moments was recording a special set deep in nature, surrounded by nothing but the sound of the wind and the beats. That’s the essence of Deep Woods: blending organic and electronic elements into something truly immersive.
You have many upcoming international dates as well as a tour across the US. What differences have you noticed among the crowds where you perform, and who brings the biggest energy?
Every crowd is unique, and that’s what makes touring so exciting. In the US, the fans bring this raw, high-energy enthusiasm. They dance nonstop and really engage with the music. In Europe, there’s a deep appreciation for the musical journey. People listen very intently and react strongly to the emotional builds in a set. Latin America is all about passion. The connection with the crowd there is unbelievable, almost spiritual. It’s impossible to pick a favorite because each place has its own magic.

“Balance,” your latest release with ODYSSAY, is a dancefloor anthem. You’ve stated that the track “is all about finding harmony in the chaos. [It’s] deep, hypnotic, and full of emotion.” How did you and ODYSSAY find your own “balance” and harmony when coming together to create this single?
ODYSSAY and I share a similar vision when it comes to music. We both love melodic deep, hypnotic sounds that take people on a journey. When we started working on “Balance,” it was all about merging our styles in a way that felt natural. We focused on a groove that keeps the track driving but also added these delicate melodic elements to create contrast. It was about trusting the process and allowing the track to evolve organically. The result is something that feels both powerful and meditative, which is exactly what we wanted to achieve.
Continuing on the theme of balance, it can be hard to compartmentalize your work and personal lives when both are so intertwined. You’ve mentioned how integral sports and working out are to keeping balance in your personal life. What are some other ways you cater to your mental health to ensure you give it your all as a DJ and producer?
Absolutely! Physical fitness is a big part of my routine, but mental well-being is just as important. Yoga, pilates and mindfulness help me stay grounded, especially when constantly traveling. Taking time to disconnect, whether it’s through nature walks or simply being present in the moment, is essential. I also make sure to have a strong support system, friends and family who keep me centered. And of course, listening to music that inspires me outside of the dancefloor helps keep my creativity flowing.
You’re sitting on quite a few upcoming releases that we hope to see in 2025. What insight can you offer, and can we look forward to any exciting collaborations?
2025 is going to be a big year! I’ve been working on several new tracks that push deeper into my melodic house and techno sound. There are also some exciting collaborations in the works, artists who share my vision and bring fresh energy to the studio. I’m also expanding the Deep Woods brand further, so expect some special releases and surprises along the way. I can’t wait to share what’s coming! For all touring highlights, check out my website. There are a bunch, and there is a huge USA tour coming very soon.
What is the biggest piece of knowledge you wish you had when first starting out in your career?
Trust your instincts, and stay patient. The music industry is a long game, and it’s easy to get caught up in trends or compare yourself to others. But the most important thing is to stay true to your sound and vision. When you’re authentic, people feel it. Also, never underestimate the power of persistence; hard work always pays off in the end. And most importantly, enjoy the journey and the moments along the way!
