Eelke Kleijn is gearing up to showcase his latest studio album, Connected, later this year and dropped off its sixth single, “Watching Over Me.”

Dutch artist Eelke Kleijn has continued to prove that he’s one of the best artists in the realm of progressive house and melodic techno. Each passing album, EP, and single he’s produced is filled with deep melodies that hit listeners right in their soul, and his performances at festivals and nightclubs have only further proven his artistry. Now, Eelke Kleijn is adding another chapter to his legacy by announcing his latest album, Connected.

The album, due out on May 2 via DAYS like NIGHTS/Armada Music, sees Eelke Kleijn deviate from his usual sonic realm to explore new reaches. “Connected is a project I’ve been working on for years,” said Eelke Kleijn. “Over that time, I’ve been inspired by many different styles and sounds, both within and outside the dance music world. Now that it’s almost here, I’m incredibly proud of the entire album!”

While the news that Connected is coming soon might’ve arrived recently, fans of Eelke Kleijn have been treated to singles that will be part of the project since 2024. “Stranger’s Town” with ZOE ASKA, “When The Sun Comes Up” with JAI RYU, “Beg You” with Leo Wood, “Disconnected” with Stealth, and “Another Life” with Nathan Nicholson all arrived over the past year. These helped set the tone for the vocal-driven nature that Eelke Kleijn intends to bring on the album.

The album announcement didn’t come without a fresh soundscape from the melodic maestro. “Watching Over Me” is the sixth single from the album, and it’s dripping with refined indie-electronic elements and sultry vocals from Emily Roberts. It’s a dancey, groovy, and seductive tune, making it a perfect addition to any playlist for the spring season ahead.

Additionally, Eelke Kleijn will take over Paradiso Amsterdam on May 2 for an audio-visual showcase to celebrate the release of Connected in the most vibrant way possible. Corren Cavini and Mitch de Klein are joining him for the evening to play in support. Sign up for the presale via the official website.
