Dismantle Relaunches Stations Label with New EP 'Unfolded'

Dismantle marks the relaunch of Stations with Unfolded, a powerful, bass-driven EP that reflects a refined evolution of his artistry.

For more than a decade, Bristol-based DJ producer Dismantle has been a pioneering force in the electronic music scene. Since breaking out with the bouncy hit “Computation” in 2011, his unique bass-driven sound has quickly caught the attention of industry heavyweights. Beyond the studio, Dismantle has also launched his imprint Stations in 2022, delivering high octane club anthems such as “Street Knowledge,” “Ghost,” and “Hammer Time” as he continues to receive support with top tier DJs like Peggy Gou, Modeselektor, TSHA, Ben UFO, Fred again.., and more.

Following a time of reflection and refining his vision, Dismantle is now ready to unveil a new chapter with his latest EP, Unfolded. Coinciding with the relaunch of Stations, this release marks a fresh start and a bold new direction for the bass star as he fully embraces his evolving artistic journey.

“I’ve spent this time honing in on what I want Dismantle to be about moving forward,” he shared. “It represents where I’m at sonically and musically and brings in elements of other projects and aliases I’ve worked on over the last 10 years. I wanted to push myself with arrangements and let my tracks breathe and evolve.”

“Junk” kicks off the EP with bumping bass licks and thunderous drums. The track provides the listeners with an exhilarating ride that proves Dismantle is in a class of his own. From there, “Grain” continues to capture the electric atmosphere with compelling beats and a youthful spirit. This playful offering is designed to keep the fun going with a carefree energy that invites everyone to let loose.

The title track guides the listeners into a transcendental experience through time as the hypnotizing trance-like sound opens the song with anticipation. It captures the raw energy of Dismantle’s meticulous sound design, which has become a hallmark of his production over the years. Then, “Buried” pushes the envelope with its blend of organic and electronic elements, all tied together with a thumping bassline. The EP rounds off with “Good Old Days,” a track packed with a dynamic bass and electrifying synths to craft an infectious dance atmosphere.
