Dom Dolla Announces Massive Show At Civic Center Park

Dom Dolla will skip Red Rocks this year and play at Civic Center Park in Denver during May.

Few artists in the electronic music scene have had as impactful of a year so far as Australian sensation Dom Dolla. Fresh off massive performances during Super Bowl week, the release of his hit new single “Dreamin (feat. Daya),” and the announcements of two Madison Square Garden headline shows and a Hï Ibiza Summer Residency, Dom’s keeping the momentum rolling with a huge show announcement in Colorado.

“DENVAAAAA, I’ve decided to switch it up this year… It’s time for a party in the park,” Dom said on an Instagram post where he announced that he will be playing a huge show at Colorado’s State Capitol when he takes the stage at Civic Center Park in Denver on May 9. This announcement may come as a surprise to those who were hoping that the artist would make his return to the iconic Red Rocks this year.

Last year, Dom Dolla was scheduled to play two headline shows at Red Rocks in April, but one of the shows got canceled due to high winds and the show was then moved to Mission Ballroom in Denver. While some may be disappointed with the Dom’s decision to not play at Red Rocks this year, the artist’s debut at the larger capacity Civic Center Park will surely be a party that will be the talk of the town. Civic Center Park is also the location that legendary Bass duo Zeds Dead hosts their yearly Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree on the 4th of July.

This huge show will occur in the same month as fellow Australian DJ Fisher‘s huge block party in Downtown Denver. While Denver is known as the “Bass Capital,” house heads in the city will be eating well in May with these two massive outdoor shows.
