Defected Malta Drops a 2025 Lineup for the House Heads

Honey Dijon, Horse Meat Disco, and Carl Craig are among the artists announced on the Defected Malta 2025 lineup.

Defected Records has never been content to simply operate as a label. To further platform artists, the house music brand has thrown some of the most lively parties around the globe. This year’s edition of Defected Malta from October 2-5 at venues across the Mediterranean island looks to be no exception if its recently unveiled lineup is any indication.

Hot names in contemporary house music like Honey Dijon, Nic Fanciulli, Hannah Wants, Eats Everything, Riva Starr, Purple Disco Machine, and TSHA leap out from this year’s lineup graphic. Adding variety to the mix are early Detroit techno figurehead Carl Craig, battle turntablist A-Trak, and experimental artist Henrik Shwarz, among others.

Key personalities near and dear to brand also appear on the Defected Malta 2025 lineup. Among them is Terry Farley, a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the legendary fanzine Boy’s Own whose career in house music extends back nearly as far as the genre’s very origin.

As always, all of the artists billed for Defected Malta will perform across four venues throughout the island. UNO consists of multiple rooms, both indoor and open air. Café del Mar is a luxury beach club in St. Paul’s Bay. The Ditch was once a moat but is now covered in lush gardens. Fort St Elmo is a historic site with relics dating back 7,000 years. Altogether, they will transform into a house music adventure the likes of which can’t be duplicated anywhere else.
