A State of Trance kicks off this weekend in Rotterdam, and plenty of magic is ahead. Stay informed with the set times, maps, and other essential information!
The excitement continues to build for trance family members who are flocking to the Netherlands to catch all the action that will take place at A State of Trance. Armin van Buuren and the ASOT crew have curated a fantastic lineup that will take the stage at Rotterdam Ahoy on February 21-22 while offering daytime activities for those staying at the partnered hotel.
Those heading to A State of Trance will be treated to two stages on Friday that feature artists including Andrew Rayel, Ferry Corsten, Jordin Post, Aly & Fila, and an epic run of sets from Armin van Buuren that include back-to-backs with Ben Hemsley, ARTBAT, and Maddix. The second night sees the festival expand to five stages, bringing forth other artists including Giuseppe Ottaviani, SUPERSTRINGS, Greg Downey, Adam Beyer, Eli Brown, Agents Of Time, and more.

Parking
Rotterdam Ahoy offers over 2,500 parking spaces. The cost for a parking spot for a passenger car is €19.50. If you have a parking ticket, you can access the parking lot from 5:00 AM on the day of your event until 5:00 AM the following day. For nighttime events, parking validity is extended.
Taxi/Uber/Bolt Information
Taxis can be found in front of Ahoy. The Uber/Bolt pick-up point can be found at the Twentestraat.
Metro Information
- On Friday, the metro will run until 2:00 from Rotterdam Zuidplein (Ahoy) to Rotterdam Central Station
- On Saturday, the metro will NOT operate between 01:15 and 07:15 on Saturday morning. Shuttle buses will run throughout the night, connecting Zuidplein Bus Station (Ahoy) with Rotterdam Central between 02:15 and 07:15. A shuttle ticket is required for a single journey.
- WEEKEND HOTEL VIP and WEEKEND HOTEL REGULAR ticket holders do not need to purchase a shuttle ticket, as it is already included in the hotel package. Access is granted exclusively upon presentation of your special hotel wristband.
A State of Trance 2025 – Bag Policy:
Visitors are not allowed to bring luggage and/or backpacks to the event. You are allowed to bring handbags of a maximum size of A4 and 10cm thickness.
Reminder To Mind Your Belongings:
Unfortunately, during this festival season, many have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers, and it’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at A State of Trance.
