EAZYBAKED shed light on all avenues of love on their latest EP, Respawn, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

EAZYBAKED have developed a unique and experimental sound that effortlessly blends bold basslines with innovative textures, pushing the boundaries of contemporary bass music. Their music is characterized by duality, striking a balance between introspection and daring experimentation. With each new release, they continue to evolve, creating tracks that resonate across multiple genres and cement their place in the underground scene.

Love is always in the air during February, as Valentine’s Day is on everyone’s mind. The holiday inspires you to appreciate your love for others and the self-love you can provide yourself. While many glamorize love in one single direction, EAZYBAKED are here to reaffirm that it has many forms. Their latest EP, Respawn, is a love letter to life and sheds light on all the directions endearment can lead us.

This EP is a testament to love in all its forms — the love we share with others and the vital act of self-love. [Okaykayo’s] voice was a major source of inspiration and opened up our minds to more possibilities... We intend for listeners to experience a profound emotional journey — a spectrum of hope, love, healing, growth, sorrow, joy, vulnerability, authenticity, and pure emotion.

The pen touches the paper as we begin writing our journey with “ThewayUwalk.” Okaykayo provides the words to fill the void with reassurance that you will find love again. Peace and comfort overcome you with each bird chirp and airy beat, making you feel like you’re taking a sunny spring day walk in the park.

Ever wonder what EAZYBAKED vs. the bakers would sound like? “WithoutU” shares the two sides of your favorite duo tangled into one track. As a hopeful beat softens the blow, somber chopped vocals speak out about the fear of being without someone you cherish.

We travel down a similar path on the title track. Okaykayo holds our hand and tells a story of heartache. Anyone who has experienced the death of a relationship can relate to wishing life had a respawn option like fictional characters do in video games.

Given how 2025 is going, we could all use some “Therapy,” and this track gives your brain the good tickle it needs. A gentle stream is met with angelic vocals harmonizing with the chirps of carefree birds. Feel your shoulders lose tension as each beat sweeps you off your feet. As this entire album has so ideally shared, you can’t have love without loss, but the growth and ability to feel your authentic emotions is a gift that makes each step of love worth the journey.

Listen to EAZYBAKED’s love letter to life on your favorite platform, and follow them on socials to find out where you can hear these tracks live next!
