Goldenvoice is set to dominate California this April with a series of shows before and during both weekends of Coachella.
If you can’t feel the warmth of spring quite yet, Goldenvoice is helping you out. The two weekends of Coachella bring hundreds of artists to Southern California to show off their best, but the renowned promoter does far more than centralize in the desert as they dominate California with shows. Goldenvoice Presents April is back once again this year, offering a plethora of shows to attend in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Bay Area.
Los Angeles receives the heartiest number of shows, kicking off on April 9 with The Dare at The Glass House, The Go-Go’s at The Roxy, and Thee Sacred Souls at Fox Theater Pomona. Can’t-miss performances throughout the month at Sound Nightclub include ALOK’s Something Else and AFROJACK performing as Kapuchon, along with other curated nights featuring Eli Brown, Dixon + Jimi Jules + Yulia Niko, and Dennis Cruz + Beltran. Other delights include Jimmy Eat World at Fox Theater Pomona, Basement Jaxx at The Fonda, and Miike Snow at The Glass House.
The Bay Area is set to be booming with its own flurry of shows, with horsegiirL leading the way with a show at The Midway on April 4. Basement Jaxx and The Prodigy will both take the stage for two nights each at The Regency Ballroom and The Warfield, respectively. Other standouts include Ben Bohmer at The Warfield, Indira Paganotto at 1015 Folsom, and Meute at Frank Ogawa Plaza.
San Diego is also getting some love from Goldenvoice during April, with three dates that feature four talented acts. Blonde Redhead will play Belly Up on April 9 to kick off that run of shows. April 16 features DJO at The Sound and Hope Tala at Music Box, while April 17 brings Underscores to Music Box to close out the run.
The Los Angeles shows for Goldenvoice Presents April are on sale now, with select Bay Area shows going on sale February 14 and February 28. The shows in San Diego will go on sale Friday, February 21.
