Belgian techno queens Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte join forces to deliver a captivating debut collaborative effort, the One Mind EP.

Two of the most influential producers in the modern techno scene, Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte, have delivered their long-awaited debut collaboration, the One Mind EP. As they’re known for their alluring soundscapes and captivating, high-energy DJ sets, their joint effort not only highlights their individual talents, but also their ability to create a cohesive and innovative musical experience.

The One Mind EP marks the first time Lens and De Witte have collaborated together on music. It comes hot on the heels of a series of premiere b2b performances in Ghent, Belgium, which have drawn tens of thousands of fans. In a joint statement on Instagram, Lens and De Witte shared their excitement for the new EP, saying “It’s hard to put into words how much this means for both of us. We tried to create two tracks that represent us and blend our sonic identities together.”

The two producers succeeded in their mission to fuse their signature sounds together, with the One Mind EP seamlessly blending their masterful production styles. The opening titular track sets the tone for the two-song EP, easing in with a smooth, atmospheric build as haunting female vocals weave through the pulsating beats, drawing listeners in before plunging into a deep, driving techno rhythm. “Where Do We Go” shifts the energy in a different direction with a heavier, more commanding groove from the start, layering rolling basslines and sharp percussive elements that drive the track forward with an unrelenting pulse.

Both Lens and De Witte have been instrumental in shaping the contemporary techno landscape, each with their own distinct sound and vision. In a heavily male-dominated genre, they have long been making waves and pushing boundaries as two of the most prominent producers. Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte’s One Mind EP amounts to an electrifying collaboration that showcases each of their combined strengths, strengthening a powerful partnership that will leave a lasting mark on the genre.

Listen to the One Mind EP on your preferred streaming platform, and be sure to follow both artists on social media to see when they collaborate next!
