Tomorrowland’s CORE Medellín is gearing up for a triumphant return. From set times and tickets to safety and travel, here’s everything you need to attend.
Last year, Tomorrowland made a statement with the debut of CORE Medellín. Almost 40,000 revelers flocked to Parque Norte Medellín for an audiovisual spectacle the likes of which are virtually unmatched with world-class melodic techno and progressive house as its centerpiece.
In addition to this year’s stellar lineup, CORE Medellín features the CORE stage, which debuted at CORE Tulum in January 2024. Featuring a DJ booth and vertical LED screen nestled between two projection-mapped hemispheres of a giant’s bust surrounded by a dazzling array of lights, fountains, and other fixtures, this monument to dance and expression will form the backdrop of thousands of unforgettable memories.
Once again, Tomorrowland has partnered with Colombian promoter Breakfast Club on CORE Medellín. The outfit has played no small role in ensuring that Colombia holds its own on the global stage as a dance music hub.
While CORE Medellín has all the ingredients of a world-class feast for the senses, it’s wise to prepare if you want to ensure that you have the best possible experience. Below, you’ll find set times, ticket info, travel tips, and all the other details you ought consider before you make the trek to Medellín for this house and techno spectacle.

CORE Medellín 2025 – Festival Map:
CORE Medellín has not yet shared a map of the festival grounds. Check back later as this article will be updated to include the graphic as soon as it’s available.
CORE Medellín 2025 – Transportation and Safety:
Attendees of CORE Medellín 2024 have largely reported that the festival grounds themselves were very safe and secure. The organizers do not offer lodging on site, however, so it is recommended that entrants book a room somewhere in El Poblado, which is the safer tourist area of the city, and ride to and from the event via Uber. All three hotels in CORE Medellín’s packages — 23 Hotel, Viaggio Grand Select, and Ibis Medellín — are located in the El Poblado neighborhood.
CORE Medellín 2025 – Cashless Wristband System:
In an effort to enable attendees to efficiently make purchases on the festival grounds, CORE Medellín has implemented a cashless wristband system. Upon entry, every ticket holder will receive a wristband that signals to staff members which areas they can access. An RFID chip on the wristband will allow attendees to purchase drinks, food, and merchandise, and they can top it up with additional money an unlimited number of times via cash or card at designated top-up points on the event site.
The top-up points also allow for exchanges from one wristband to another. At least $5,000 COP ($1.20 USD) must be deposited each time, and attendees can request refunds of any unused balance until March 4, minus a processing fee of $8,000 COP ($1.92 USD).
Reminder to Mind Your Belongings:
Unfortunately, many recent festival-goers have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers. It’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at CORE Medellín.
