Alby Loud treats fans to a preview of his upcoming album, Duality, with a lethal guest mix that includes six new records and the greatest hits from his arsenal.
Mexican artist Alby Loud, one of EDM Identity’s Artists to Watch in 2025, has made his mark in hard dance over the past 10 years. His musical style emphasizes out-of-the-box thinking and pushes the limits of any genre he touches, whether it’s hardstyle, hardcore, hard house, or anything else. His journey has led him to create one of Mexico’s best record labels, Be Weird Be Original, and an event series dubbed Loud Friends that delivers dance music headliners alongside the next generation of producers.
Although the Alby Loud journey is just starting, he’s been around the music scene his entire life. “My dad was a DJ and promoter, so I grew up surrounded by music like techno, new beat, and hard house,” he said. These sounds initially didn’t make sense to him as they were simply noises. With time, though, he learned to enjoy and understand them, leading to the beginning of his producer career.
Today, Alby Loud proudly represents the distorted sounds of hard dance in Mexico and abroad. “I believe that hard dance in Mexico is going in a good direction, especially because of the digital tools and social media at our disposal that let us go further than ever before,” he told EDM Identity.
Despite this positive outlook, Alby Loud believes that the scene is also at a point where it should evolve and take more risks. “The key is to stop trying to copy European hard dance and, in turn, focus on building our own identity,” he expressed.
To that end, Alby Loud urges the Mexican scene to believe in its own talent, stop feeling like they are less than the DJs from other countries, and be more consistent. Once this is achieved, he sees a positive and bright future ahead for the scene in Mexico. “We need to escape the ordinary, value our work, and avoid sounding like ‘just another DJ,'” he said.
On a global level, Alby Loud expresses that there’s a lack of originality at the moment, citing the explosive rise of hard techno at the forefront of hard music. Despite enjoying it, listening to it, producing it, and playing it, he would love to see a world where there is more commitment to creativity and authenticity, a world where artists take risks in their music and style.
In 2025, Alby Loud plans to capitalize on this mindset for another key year of his project. The work never stops, and he’s aiming to take his music to new places and explore new countries and audiences while perfecting what he’s already doing. The next step of his journey is coming very soon with the release of his latest album, Duality. Totaling at 15 new records, it explores the two sides of the project.
Half of the Duality will focus on what fans know and love from Alby Loud, including hard dance, hardcore, hard techno, rawstyle, and uptempo. The second half will present fans with a completely new side of his that explores his deepest emotions, ambient melodies, and a touch of piano. “This is a project that has challenged me as a producer, and I’m excited to show everyone something so versatile but authentic,” he said, reflecting on Duality.
