Eric Prydz is making [UNVRS] Ibiza his home this summer and bringing the Holosphere 2.0 experience along for the ride.
Eric Prydz is currently in the midst of his 20 Years of Pryda tour, which will take him to cities throughout North America, but the Swedish artist already has his sights on summer. From June to September, the progressive house maestro is set to make his new home on the White Isle, taking over the newly-minted super club [UNVRS] Ibiza for Holosphere 2.0 shows every Monday during the 14-week run.
While Eric Prydz has trotted around other venues in Ibiza in the past, [UNVRS] is the only place on the White Isle that could house Holosphere 2.0. This exclusive experience is the successor to the original, an eight-ton sphere that debuted in 2019 at Tomorrowland and was unfortunately crushed when the stage collapsed.
The newly revamped iteration features a wholly redesigned sphere and improved concert concept that will vastly differ from its predecessor. Holosphere 2.0 will be a feature film’s worth of brand-new original animation, 3D holographic effects, and new multidimensional layers of custom LEDs. Each week, Eric Prydz will be able to experiment musically and visually, making tweaks to the show as it progresses and highlighting its next-generation animations and productions.
Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0 residency will run every Monday at [UNVRS] Ibiza from June 2 to September 1. Tickets are on sale now. Head to the official website to make your purchase.
